You guys, these are something amazing. Just picked myself up a pair!
NO, tights ARE pants! You can totally purchase tights that leave the camel far away in the desert. And as long as you ain’t jigglin’ around having filled those tights with some chronic excess, or alternatively you’re a guy and are exposing your junk, pants they can be! And if people generally accept tights aren’t pants even with long tops/jumpers then you’re stupid, according to me, and I’m obviously someone…
Woah this is a blast from the past! Funny to see how much my little lunchtime sketches have progressed over the year.
And I wouldn’t say im stupid for not excepting tights as pants. Maybe its a regional thing, but Sydney girls went through a phase of wearing 40 denier TIGHTS, so by the time it got to their bottoms it was totally sheer. Not leggings, not jeans with tight patterns on them, tights. And a lot of ladies opted for sizes a smidge too small. Opaque leggings, the right size under a long shirt or shorter dress? Girl, you rock it. I would sell my own mother for a pair of these Black Milk Galaxy leggings!
And lord knows when im at the gym in my gym pants (leggins?) and im really going for it I become the honorary mayor of moose knuckle town.
